BlackBerry Bold 9700 - Professional Tool for Sophisticated Users
BlackBerry Bold 9700 Customer Review...

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 can now finally everything that previously could only each individual BB part. A brief overview (also and especially in comparison to the Bold 9000):
- All GSM standard, so that super-fast connectivity
- WiFi (simple to configure)
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Much better camera (3.2 MPXL; photos look now at last no longer cheap as from a mobile phone)
- The new operating system based on 5.0 - a significant advance to the 4.x versions! (Especially in comparison with the now fairly in the aging software on Nokia smartphones that is particularly clear)
- Very good media player (but no FM radio)
- Compared to the 9000s a LOT better battery performance (I mean, about twice as good!)
- The size of the device is now perfectly balanced: the display and keyboard are still large enough to work around it, plug in the device small enough to be able to make it good.
Speaking of keyboard: This is the best thing is to get smart phones at present. Very clear, well thought-out layout of the QWERTY keyboard, and the formation of small "bumps" on the keys convenient, quick tap allows itself with thick fingers. Very good pressure points, like the whole feel of the device happened to sound very high quality.
Very practical, the 5 "convenience" keys:
top of the device under each button for a standby / mute and lock buttons, right, a volume control plus a freely definable key (eg for the camera), and also left an assignable button.
Instead of the BB users familiar, very good scroll ball (a mouse replacement) you have in 9700 is now a "trackpad" (similar to the Touch-Pad for Notebooks installed), as the ball usern in some seemingly dirty, and often worse off working. That was never the case with me, and I liked the trackball better. But now I'm used to the trackpad and I'm now able to cope well.
The synchronization software is excellent and I sync all the addresses and dates easily with Outlook, the synchronization, USB cable, which charges the battery while the BB, and which also extreme user may be operating system updates.
Unfortunately, it has switched from mini USB to Micro-USB, so once new equipment (eg auto detail) needed.
It comes with a 2 GB Micro-SD card - very convenient because you can store many photos or more than 30 hours of music on it.
Also on board is a mini-office, which means that one can MS-Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint files, and display Adobe PDF files is (good for small things thanks to an easy to use Zoom function). I have the BlackBerry's online store (which is wonderful to use from the device) or a Pro version of Office around 10 ' and can be purchased now Word, Excel and PowerPoint files to edit so even. That works, thanks to its intuitive operation and the excellent display, amazingly good!
Moreover, there is a Blackberry-shop online a lot of really useful applications that (partly free or for very small fee of a few euros) and very easy to use can be installed on the device. I bought, among other things a business card scanning software (U.S. $ 9.95). These scans business cards, which are photographing with the device-camera, and transmits the data read into the appropriate fields in the Outlook address book. This works well with minimal post processing! Also an online dictionary for several languages, I have (FREE!) played thereupon, and some other very practical gimmicks.
Very good is the Media Player music and sounds with the included stereo headset-(has also played for an integrated Micro handsfree) excellent; movies are nice and smoothly flowing. Incidentally, we may release a built-in speaker very well even without headset or play even with tolerable quality sound files. Where would be to say that the speakerphone sound quality in the (larger) BB 9000 is clearly better.
Internet works very well and (over WiFi) super fast, and the BlackBerry e-mail push service (the weightiest reason to doubt the operation of a BB) is still unrivaled. All the "hybrid" mail services from other suppliers are relatively quick fixes. Anyone who has had BB push mail is, in other solutions no longer be satisfied.
CONCLUSION:
A great device for business users and private users who appreciate the "real" mobile e-mail availability and useful like mobile services, but one part, "lifestyle features" ala I-Phone do not need the other but a more modern and user-friendly platform wish as this may offer Nokia.
